Lumina Sanctuary is built on work other people gave away. The components below are included in the application and remain the property of their authors under their own licences.
Bundled software
FFmpeg
Ships inside the installer and performs all encoding, streaming and recording. The FFmpeg project is licensed under the LGPL or GPL depending on how it is built and which components are enabled.

FFmpeg is separate software with its own licence and is not part of Lumina Sanctuary. It is run as a separate program: the app starts it, hands it video on its standard input and reads its progress output. It does not link against FFmpeg's libraries.
The complete corresponding source for this build is available from the address above. If you cannot obtain it there, the publisher will provide it on request. The full text of the GPL is at gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html. The same notice ships inside the installer beside the binary.
Application framework and libraries
The desktop application, its interface and its local database are built on open-source components, most under permissive licences such as MIT, BSD and Apache 2.0.

Each remains under its own licence, and each licence text ships with the component inside the installer. Versions are those of the current release; the list is regenerated when they change.
Scripture texts
The installer seeds a scripture text into a local database on first launch, so that the app can put a passage on the wall in a building with no network. Around 31,000 verses are written once, on the first run.
Modern translations are not free to redistribute. Settings → Content → Bible Translations imports any translation your church holds a licence for, from a folder of files on your own machine; imported texts are never uploaded anywhere. Holding the right to use, project and broadcast a translation is your church's responsibility, and this software does not grant it.

The hymnal
The application includes the 695 hymn entries of the Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal as reference data, so that a number called from the platform means the same thing on every machine.
Individual hymns carry their own copyright status: many are in the public domain, others are not. Their inclusion here is not a grant of any right to project, perform or broadcast them, and your church's licensing obligations are unchanged by using this software.
The words are included, not only the numbers and titles, so that an operator who can remember a line but not a number can find the hymn by typing the line. Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal is the property of its publisher, and nothing here is a grant of rights in it.
Every projection of a hymn or song is recorded locally so that Settings → Maintenance → Hymn Usage Report can produce the return a CCLI licence asks for. Making that return remains your church's duty; the software keeps the record and does not report on your behalf.

Typefaces
The projection typefaces offered in Settings → Content are open-licence fonts, most under the SIL Open Font License.

All eleven are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, and all eleven ship inside the installer rather than being fetched when a service starts — a projector that loses the church Wi-Fi mid-hymn keeps the typeface it was set to.
This website sets its own text in Spectral and IBM Plex Sans and Mono, also under the SIL Open Font License, served from this site rather than from a font network.
Services the app can talk to
Microsoft PowerPoint, YouTube, Facebook and CCLI are products and trade marks of their respective owners. Lumina Sanctuary interoperates with them and is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by any of them. Blackmagic Design ATEM hardware is named only as an example of a switcher that presents itself to Windows as a camera.
And the volunteers
This software exists because of people who arrive before anyone else, sit at the back where nobody looks, and are noticed only when something goes wrong. Every design decision in it came from watching that job being done.
